The LG G3 is one of this year’s top smartphones, because of its elegant design, back-facing buttons and extensive list of features, which we have previously covered in our software tour. Did you know that there is more than one way to take a screenshot with LG’s latest Android flagship? Today we will show you both ways.
Like all Android smartphones and tablets, you are able to take a screenshot by using the hardware keys. Though the LG G2 may seem a bit daunting at first because the keys have been placed on the back side of the device, which is supposed to make using them a lot more ergonomic. Taking a signature is no different. By pressing the power key (middle key) and volume down (button key), this will activate the screen capture, where you will see a small animation on the screen, as well as hear a sound. The image is then saved to your gallery app under ‘Screenshots’ and will also show up in your notification shade, where you can share it right from there.
The software way
This may be even easier than the hardware method, the only thing is knowing about it! Well we are here to educate you on this, so have no fear. Thanks to a built-in feature called QMemo+, you simply slide your finger from the bottom of the display up and swipe your finger up to the option on the right, which is QMemo+. The left option is incidentally Google Now. The screenshot is taken as soon as you’ve done this, and you will be able to write on it, or add text. After you’re satisfied, you can save it, where it will be stored in the screenshots folder of your gallery app, or you can also share it via any of your communication channels (email, social media etc).
